Blume Ventures raises $250 Mn

Venture Capital firm Blume Ventures raised $250 million in its fourth round of funding. Fund IV will be managed by a 15-member investment team led by Sajith Pai, Arpit Agarwal, Ashish Fafadia, Sanjay Nath, and Karthik Reddy. The firm will use the funds to invest in 30-35 companies across different technology verticals. Blume Ventures is a venture capital firm that provides pre-series A and early-stage funding to technology-focused startups in various sectors like ed-tech, fintech and healthcare and offers a network of mentors and advisors to these founders.

HealthKart raises $135 Mn in Series H round

Nutrition platform HealthKart raised $135 million in a new funding round led by Temasek Holdings. The company will use the funds to meet its Indian and overseas expansion plans including acquisition, scaling up its offline presence and growing its D2C brands. HeathKart works in the space of health and fitness by providing its customers access to a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, health and fitness products ranging from protein supplements to health accessories.

Wakefit raises $45 Mn

Sleep solutions and mattress brand Wakefit raised $45 million in an equity round led by Investcorp along with participation from existing investors including Sequoia Capital India. The funds will be used for scaling up the company’s business, acquisition of smaller brands and buying back employee stock options. Wakefit offers a variety of products focused on sleep solutions like mattresses with ergonomic designs for muscular and postural support and products like pillows and comforters.

RENEE Cosmetics raises $25 Mn in Series B round

D2C beauty brand RENEE Cosmetics raised $25 million in a Series B round led by Evolvence India, along with participation from existing investors Equanimity and 9Unicorns. The funds will be used for national and international expansion, expanding the team and taking up new market initiatives. RENEE is a cruelty-free beauty and cosmetics brand that offers a variety of products from eye makeup to skin serums and sells these in over 650 shop-in-shop stores in India as well as online through platforms like Myntra and Amazon.

Uniqus Consultech raises $12.5 Mn in Series A round

Tech-enabled consulting platform Uniqus Consultech raised $12.5 million in Series A funding led by VC firm Nexus Venture Partners and Sorin Investments, along with participation from consulting leaders like Pirojsha Godrej, Anant Goenka and Apoorva Patni. The funds will help the firm scale up its business in the US, India, and the Middle East with $15 billion worth of market opportunities. Uniqus Consultech is a tech-based global platform offering ESG and accounting advisory services with an aim to invest largely in technology and make a global consulting firm that has operations across the globe.

Virgio raises $10 Mn

Fashion startup Virgio raised $10 million in an extended Series A round led by Prosus Ventures. The company aims to offer trendy and affordable clothes to its consumers. Virigo is a social commerce platform which aims to build a connection between designers and customers and provide customisation of consumer needs for fashion products. It offers casual, partywear, loungewear, sportswear and ethnic clothing.

Virohan raises $7 Mn in pre-Series B round

Healthcare ed-tech startup Virohan raised $7 million in its pre-Series B1 round led by Blume Ventures, along with participation from Bharat Inclusive Technologies Seed Holdings, Rebright Partners and others. Virohan is focused on education in the healthcare sector by providing vocational training for paramedics such as OT technicians, lab technicians and x-ray technicians through offline and online mediums helping the youth build a career in healthcare.

Vidyut raises $4 Mn in seed round

EV financing startup Vidyut raised $4 million in its seed funding round co-led by Force Ventures and Veda VC, along with participation from strategic angel investors in the clean energy space. The funds will be used for hiring new employees with the aim to double the headcount in its credit, engineering, and sales teams in the coming year along with expansion into more cities. Vidyut is an EV financing and vehicle lifecycle management platform that aims to make commercial EV ownership affordable by providing interest rates as low as 7%.

Yellow Metal raises $3 Mn in seed round

Lending-Tech startup Yellow Metal raised $3 million in its Seed-1funding round led by MSA Capital, along with participation from WaterBridge Ventures, Spiral Ventures, LetsVenture’s LV Angel Fund and Java Capital’s Csquare Venture Partners Fund. The company aims to transform the way rural people use their household gold and help them monetise it. Yellow Metal offers gold loans within 30 minutes to rural people at zero processing fees and very cheap interest rates.

Agritech Startup Intello Labs raised $2.82 million in its Series B funding round led by Saama Capital, along with participation from existing investors Avaana Capital, Omnivore, Nexus Ventures, and AgFunder. The company will use the funds to supplement its working capital and meet the funding requirements of the business in the long term. Intello Labs is an AI-focused agri-tech company that helps automate the supply chain management of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices and nuts by assessing their quality using computer vision.

Accacia raises $2.5 Mn in seed round

Real estate startup Accacia raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Accel and Eduardo Saverin’s B Capital, along with participation from Blume Ventures, Good Capital and others. The funds raised will be used for the company’s growth across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the US and Canada over the next year. Accacia is a SaaS platform that helps real estate and infrastructure companies track their emissions across assets and helps them focus on carbon emission goals by providing recommendations to help the environment.

Investment tech startup Algobulls raised $2 Mn in Pre-Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts, along with participation from DSP Group, Findoc Finvest, Nitin Shahi and others. The funds raised will be deployed in product and technology development along with helping the company expand into international markets, hire strategists and integrate with broking houses. Algobulls is an automated trading platform which provides retail investors with state-of-the-art trading strategies and the chance to monetise their expertise in formulating trading strategies.

The funds will be used to scale up the startup's market operations and improve its product portfolio.
